Francocel – The home of the giant toasted sandwich

There are very few things in Vryheid that can satisfy one’s hunger better than a legendary Francocel toasted sandwich.

With more than a dozen fillings to choose from, ravenous diners will be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding on which tasty combination of ingredients they would like generously crammed between two jumbo slices of homemade bread and then toasted to perfection.

From the simple, yet deliciously traditional, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich to the more decadent ‘Gavin Special’ lavishly loaded with bacon, cheese and a hearty mushroom sauce, or the ‘Breakfast’ sandwich, jam-packed with a beef patty, bacon, egg, cheese and tomato, there is certainly something to suit everyone’s palate.
If the immensity of the jumbo toasted sandwich on homemade bread is a little too intimidating, all of the tasty toasted sandwich combinations are also available on standard sized bread.

Another popular option on the menu is the Francocel Burger, made with a delectably meaty homemade beef patty and available on its own or in several tasty variations with a side order of succulently spicy chips.

Francocel’s menu offers discerning diners a variety of freshly prepared meals to suit both the savoury palate and the sweet tooth, from the time-honoured classic, pie and gravy with chips, to the cherished family-favourite, pancakes smothered in cinnamon sugar, as well as a multitude of appetising options in between, including cake by the slice.
