Holiday snack: This twist on avo guacamole will liven up many a meal

INGREDIENTS

2 avocados, peeled and pitted

1 cup of tomatoes, chopped

¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed

¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped

2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice

1 chili of your choice, seeded and finely chopped (optional)

½ tsp cumin

Salt and black pepper to taste

METHOD

Mash the avocados in a bowl to your preferred consistency.

Mix the tomato, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, lime juice and chili pepper into the avocado.

Season with salt and pepper.
