When will the AbaQulusi Private Hospital be open for business?

Director, Thami Mlotshwa, proudly announced that there is actually only two week’s worth of work left to be done, in terms of construction.

“It is just one long passage that needs flooring and a few touch ups that are needed,” he said.

Mr Mlotshwa wrote to the Department of Health (DoH) in application for an operational licence for the AbaQulusi Private Hospital two weeks ago.

“It usually takes about four weeks from the time you write to them for them to perform the necessary inspection, so I am expecting DoH representatives to come down for an inspection by the end of the month,” said Mr Mlotshwa.

Once the DoH has completed its inspection, it may be a further two weeks before the operational license is issued. So if all goes according to plan, AbaQulusi Private Hospital may have a Spring opening.
