Michaelis Challenge around the corner

OUR u11 cricket team played against LMS last Tuesday in very windy conditions.

Michaelis batted first and scored 87 runs in 15 overs. Ethan Watson once again batted like a legend and scored 65 runs. LMS went in to bat and were balled out for 15 runs. Jordan Freyer took 5 wickets with his sniper-like bowling skills! Well done, boys, this was some great cricket. Let’s keep it up for the rest of the season!

On Saturday, September 16, Michaelis School will be hosting their annual Michaelis Challenge at Bloemveld Dam. This year we have stepped it up a notch and are awarding two R10 000 prizes to the schools with the most entries in the two events, namely MTB and running. This does not include the 5km fun run/walk and the 10 km cycle. Anyone who enters this event may choose a school to support, thus upping a school’s numbers. We encourage all the schools in the area to get their pupils, families and friends involved, the more entries you have under your school, the greater the chance of winning R20 000! Are you ready? Michaelis Challenge 2017 is ready for you! Visit our website at www.michaelischallenge.co.za and enter today.
