Great times on the green for Vryheid golfers

Andrè Smit was the winner in the Men's A Division with 41 points.

 

GOLF enthusiasts from Vryheid took part in the BMW Supertech Golf Day in Newcastle.

Ray Williams, who recently took over as Dealer Principal at BMW Supertech in Newcastle, orchestrated the golf day, ensuring a fantastic day of golfing on the Vulintaba Links Course in Newcastle, which was a great source of enjoyment for our local golfers.

Andrè Smit won the Men’s A Division with 41 points, followed by Cornè van Deventer in second. Liezl Smit took second place for Vryheid in the Ladies’ Division.

The Vryheid golfers would like to say a big thank you to Ray Williams for the spectacular day.

“He really spoilt us and it was such a lovely day,” stated Chantelle Solms, who also took part.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for participating in the BMW Golf Cup International at the Supertech Newcastle event held at the Vulintaba Country Estate,” writes Ray Williams. “We trust that you enjoyed the day with us and most of all, the elusive challenge of this wonderful game.”

“We would like to extend our well wishes to our three ambassadors, Ladies – Sunè du Toit, Men B division – Tommy Tseng and Men A division – Andre Smit, who have qualified to play at the BMW Golf Cup International National Final.”
