Vryheid Landbou boys off to Argentina

N Ngema and B Nkosi on their way to Argentina

Issued by Vryheid Landbou School

It is with great pride that we send Bongokuhle Nkosi and Ndumiso Ngema off to Argentina to play 7’s rugby for the South African Warthogs Invitational team. The team will tour Argentina from December 3 to December 12. The two boys were selected at the Merensky 7’s tournament, which formed part of the South African School 7’s circuit that was hosted at different schools throughout the country.

Their participation would not have been possible without sponsors and we would like to thank the following companies and people that made their trip possible.

Two friends of the school that managed to get the full amount from a rugby club in the UK for Bongokuhle.

Thank you to Build It Hluhluwe and Mpumi Zikalala who sponsored R 10 000 each and all the other sponsors that deposited money into the school’s account. We would like to thank you individually but in many cases no names were available on our bank statement.

Three of our boys represented the NKZN Rugby team and Ndumiso represented the KZN Country District team this year. The two boys representing South Africa in Argentina puts the icing on the cake of Vryheid Landbou’s 2017 rugby season.
