A Christmas message from the Deputy Mayor of AbaQulusi

AbaQulusi Deputy Mayor, Mncedisi Cyril Maphisa.

DEPUTY Mayor of AbaQulusi, Cllr Mncedisi Cyril Maphisa writes: “Four months ago, I was honoured to be appointed as the Deputy Mayor of AbaQulusi – a place blessed with rich history and cultural heritage.”

“A place of hard-working people from all races and walks of life, and a place of young people with possible dreams of better tomorrow. This is a place of courageous people who stop at nothing in protecting their families, property, and dignity for all.”

“On behalf of my family and our collective leadership, I wish all our residents a merry Christmas and urge you to remember the essence of this day.”

As we celebrate let us all remember that Christmas is not about spending money, rather its about spending time with family and friends creating memories that will last a lifetime.

“At this time may God bless each and every resident and may our collective dreams, hopes and aspirations as a community find favour before His eyes. As we celebrate let us not forget those who have lost their loved ones, those who are sick and those who are less fortunate, those we know and those we don’t know because, through our actions as leaders and fellow citizens, they should see the glory of our Lord – Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous 2018.”
