Turning dreams into businesses with capital funding

Determined to help local entrepreneurs get a foothold in the business world, the Department of Arts and Culture brought together the AbaQulusi LED (Local Economic Development) Department as well as ABSA  bank to share some knowledge with small business owners and artists.

Locals were educated about the programs available from ABSA that can enrich them with knowledge, as well as how they can obtain funding from the bank to help get their small businesses off the ground.

“We really hope that you will really assist us as we have had so many similar meetings but they were not fruitful. Our people really need help in fulfilling their dreams. Most of the people here do not have capital. What they have is a dream,” said Lindiwe Ntshangase to the ABSA staff members that were present.

With the presentation having gone well, local talents are hoping to soon be introduced to a learning program that will help them navigate their path in the business world.
