Potholes in Mason Street, now you see them, now you don’t

After the pothole was repaired.

STAFF and patrons of Vryheid Cash & Carry, as well as those who travel along that section of road near the Mason Street Clinic, can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the pothole pandemic that once rendered the driveway entrance of the store almost unusable, has now been repaired.

The potholes were once a growing concern, as reported in the Vryheid Herald, April 6. However, within the last week or two, according to a bystander who works in the area, the repairs were done and it has made a great difference for those who once had to dodge the almost unavoidable craters that were there before.

“We’d just like to thank the municipality for attending to this problem,” says a staff member at the store. “We appreciate their efforts in this regard and it will certainly make things a lot more pleasant for our clients and staff, as well as everyone who uses this road.”
